In practice the Association contributes and promotes the artists’ work by giving its support in organising exhibitions, promoting artists in residencys and site specific projects as creating workshops and seminars. From the ongoing commitment of Kforumvienna association results a network of links to artists, curators and institutions. Apart of numerous innovative cultural actions of interdisciplinary approach, the Kforumvienna is focused on the endorsement of the medium video, converted in research, archiving and exposition projects.
We believe that contemporary art has an important role in the process of understanding the own positions in contemporary life and opens doors towards an interaction with and understanding of other standpoints.
