DISPLAY

The Display project from the association Kforumvienna is a „project in progress“ event which takes place every year with different themes (2003: Konsum, 2004: Public and Private). It pretends to reach not only the specialist public from the art institutions but a more expanded audience. Furthermore the artists will be given the chance to present their works aside the gallery system. In this case they work directly in the shop window from commercial enterprises.
With the third edition of Display, Kforumvienna invites again the artists to work on a place/theme represented by the shop's window. The main innovation of this year concerns the use of a unique medium for all the works and its dimensional character. The space of action for the artists has been shifted in the external limit of the shop the glass of the window.
