VIDEOTHEKA

The project VIDEOTHEKA is a video art archive, including over 150 video works from all genres, presenting an overview over a variety of working methods of emerging and well known video artists. The archive is accessible to curators, artists and students for research purposes. (click here for the list of artists).
Every hosting co-organiser is actively involved into the curative process of choosing local artists that join the archive, supplies the space to show it and the administration of the workshops and seminaries that will take place parallel to the shows. Since 2004 VIDEOTHEKA was hosted by organisations and curatorial teams in Bratislawa / Slovakia, Munich / Germany, Prato / Italy and Zagreb and Krizevzi / Croatia yearly presentation of the whole archive and new entries are featured in cooperation with the Kunsthalle Vienna, Ursula Blickle Lounge.(Download information.)
